To the donates: Mh my hosting is partly donate based. But I will never shut down the
server or stop the hosting when I don't recieve donates. When the old messageboard
is back online and transfer to the new server we will talk over this topic.

To the mug: Have only one thing in my closet. But the design is wrong and old.

Great news Andreas and thanks to Ricard and Jason too,

I don't think Jack did it on purpose. The financial burden probably was too big on him and concerning the lack of communication: I think he is embarassed


At the time Andreas transitioned to Jack i pmed him and offered to save all the data on an external hardrive i would have bought on my own expense.
In hindsight i proved a strange foresight. At that time Andreas told me to contact Ricard cause he could not decide it alone (which i never did).

Here is my official offer to help that this won't happen again:
I offer to store the whole webpage (when it is restored) on an external hardrive which i could update from time to time as a "safety net".
And remember, this website is the best site about anything JW. All the info on it merits a safety net of more than one or two persons

I was already planning on getting the server backed up every day to hard drives I have at my home once we're back

I'm not really around that much anymore and I was going through withdrawal. I was worried there for a while until I saw the FSM thread. Glad to hear that everything is looking to be back on track.

He's virtually ignoring everyone which is quite rude and irritating. Especially since I see him on Facebook every day and he posts nearly every day too.

So here is what i don't get. No one of you had the website saved in case something happens? This whole site is worth so much for film music history and
John Williams. If necessary write the webhoster an email, explain the situation and beg them not to delete the page.

Andreas you didnt keep the site saved when you transfered servers? I specifically asked you to let me make a safecopy but i remember you said you have it
saved yourself even though you transfered the data to Jack...

I refuse to believe that no one has a safety copy. That would be beyond stupid. To lose the complete 9 year old website would be a colossal, unbelievable tragedy and an even bigger stupidity.


Usaually the owner of the site has to have a copy (at least once a year) and Andreas as the former admin should have kept one too. If not that is beyond words........

Friday evening and still nothing from Jack. What a complete mess. Andreas is angry? Yep, I bet he is.
